pop2sms ist ein einfacher E-Mail-Client, wie auch Outlook oder Eudora. Jedoch wird die E-Mail nicht irgendwo gespeichert und zum Lesen durch den Benutzer bereit gehalten, sondern, die Informationen werden aufbereitet und einem SMS-Tool zum Versand übergeben. Auch wenn sich das sehr einfach anhört, so hat pop2sms im Laufe der Entwicklung doch einige interessante Features erhalten:
- Automatischer Emailabruf
- Sperren von E-Mailadressen als Schutz gegen Missbrauch
- Kennwort für SMS-Nummern
- Unterstützt dmail pro von Advanced Computing & Communikation
- Erneutes Bearbeiten und Versenden alter eMail-Nachrichten in pop2sms
(z.B. wenn in der Adresse Schreibfehler vorliegen)
Bei Bedarf kann die Original eMail als Datei abgespeichert werden.
Viele Ihrer Mitarbeiter haben ein privates Handy. Aber wir können gut verstehen, wenn die Telefonnummern `geheim` bleiben sollen. Jedoch: Ist das Handy SMS-fähig, kann auf unaufdringliche Weise (und oft auch billiger als die Sprachmailbox) eine Kurznachricht an den Mitarbeiter versand werden. Wer kontakten möchte, schickt einfach eine eMail an den sms-Account, in der Betreffzeile den Namen des Mitarbeiters und den Text. Die Telefonnummern zu den Namen werden im SMS-Tool verwaltet und können so - wenigstens halbwegs - geheim bleiben. Auch für kleinere Firmen mit wenigen Aussendienst-Mitarbeitern bietet sich diese Lösung an. Haben Sie sehr grosses SMS-Aufkommen und sehr viele Mitarbeiter, dann probieren Sie ruhig mal unsere Lösung aus, warum sollte diese Ihren Bedürfnissen nicht genügen?
